not very secure attachment

What I didn't like is that it only has one screw to attach the bracket to the mounting location. Movement of the antenna will cause the bracket to "wobble" back and forth.

Great simple antenna mount

There wasn't much space to mount the antenna so it was perfect. Drill a hole and tighten a screw. Got it with firestick, spring and quick connector. So far, so good

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Gotcha

Works perfectly! in Audio & Video Accessories

I bought this product to improve uncut branches on the roads and to prevent damage. The product works great on the Kenworth truck I drive. I modified it by leaning to the right that I needed and removed the original brackets and replaced them with modified ones and they worked great.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Useless Features

FB for relaxed use

Sorry Charlie, but this mount won't hold up a 10' stainless steel whip or Hustler gear - it's more suited to a mini hamstick. While the rod used is good, and the components used are good, they're not up to "truck" standards - maybe good enough for your Fiat 500 or Nissan Leaf that said just buy a 3/8-24 -Nut and two clamps for tubing at your local Homeless Despot and have a working Gamstik dipole adapter for your crappie pole.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Great mount for AV accessories

Overall, this is a great mount for your FireStick antenna. I have a 2019 Wrangler JLU with a Mopar Heavy Duty tailgate. This tailgate reinforcement has a hole for mounting an antenna. This mount is ideal for this application. I had to buy a slightly longer stainless steel bolt to fit the tailgate better, but once installed it was great. The stainless steel part bends a little due to the thickness of the metal between the car attachment point and the antenna post, so you need to be careful when…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

a simple piece of metal.

Given the thinness of the metal, it's surprisingly strong. For my application, I installed it on the driver's side fender just under the hood. I had to cut the end off a bit to bring the antenna a little closer to the body and drill a new hole in the bracket and fender. I ate 4 drill bits to make this hole until I finally got a black oxide drill bit. As I said, this thing uses quality steel. Just make sure that wherever you attach the metal, it's strong enough to not warp. The steel in this…

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
