🔨 Fisch FSA 309079 Forstner Bit: 2 Inch Diameter Hole Drilling Efficiency Review

High quality drill but too aggressive for my application. I got into hard to reach places and my arms were stretched out over my head so I couldn't get the bit straight. He immediately took off at an undesirable angle and ate a lot of firewood in a second or two. This is a great product but not for the hobbyist like me.

Looks like the other reviewers got the 'right deal' fish. The drill bit I received barely made 3 holes in 1 1/2" thick plywood. It immediately seemed difficult. I even attempted to drill a hole in 3/4" MDF today to see if it gets better I barely made it to the end it was so boring. Not impressed. Even my cheaper Forstner bits cut better than these.

First of all you should all buy this bit as it is made in Austria NOT China. This is a quality hit! It gets razor sharp (and stays that way for a long time), which explains the title.
