Description of πŸͺš Fisch FSF 364757 Point Drill - Imperial

Chrome-vanadium steel lasts longer between sharpening. Less tear-out in hardwood, softwood and laminated materials. Optimized outer spurs insure fast and easy cutting of the wood, scoring the outer rim of the hole before the main part of the drill begins to do its work. For use in soft, hard, exotic, veneered and laminated wood, as well as MDF and even acrylic Plexiglas. Beveled cutting edge leads to clean drilling without any deviation while feeding the bit into the material.

Not the high quality I was expecting

These bits are said to be well machined and accurate, but if at least two thirds of the bits wobble significantly and the bits are off center, you've lost a lot along the way to accuracy. They seem to have cut some corners in the production process. I tried a few individual bits from a reputable source and found the same lack of precision. If you are a serious carpenter looking for quality precision bits I would not recommend this product.

Not a bad drill for the price.

I got tired of using standard woodworking twist drill bits and wanted to get a set of pivot bits. It's a decent set for the price. The hitting is a bit more than it should be but it's not bad enough to fret too much but the rating has dropped from 5 stars to 4 stars. The case is ok but I think a lug is broken. and doesn't stick well. Also note that the 4 least significant bits (1/16, 5/64, 3/32 and 7/64) are not a reference point. This drove me nuts for a while, thinking I'd lost the 7/64 bit…

Not the best quality

After receiving and inspecting this sharp drill bit set I immediately sent it back. And thanks to Revain for the easy return process. There are two quality issues with these bits. First, cutting lips (screws) are not cut at the pick head. Using high-quality pointed chisels, these drills plug the hole diameter for a cleaner cut, both inwards and outwards. They also help achieve a smoother sidewall in the bore of the well. Second, the grooves on these bits are not polished. The polished flute…
