Do not buy. The one I received didn't have a grinding wheel. The addendum says it is. The packaging says it is. However, it's just a useless piece of plastic.

Works well on axles. Seems a bit big to work well with knives. However, we did get this ax sharpener that holds the edge very well.

Item arrived on time and well packaged. Use it to save the blade of Fiskar's ax and Luke. I use it after each use and it holds the edge perfectly. Not as good as new but pretty good and I'm very happy with the performance.

When this shipped from the Baltics I found I could buy it locally for a little less at Home Depot or Lowe's. Guilty. However, I tested it on my X7 and X27 and it came out EXTREMELY sharp. Cleansed by 1000 stones. If you like Fiskars axes, you'll love this sharpener.

The idea that this cheap piece of plastic could be used to sharpen an ax with penny-sized whetstones is ridiculous. My camper ax - 14" doesn't sharpen past the very end of the blade, so it's useless if you need to remove chips and dents in normal use. Very disappointed in an otherwise good brand.

Works well, a little flimsy but cheap. My problem is that I thought it would wear down the entire surface of the bevel, but when used it only sharpens the first 2mm or so of the bevel. I keep it in the field for emergency touch ups, but will continue to sharpen at home with a diamond file for general maintenance.

The item just didn't fit. The whetstone had so much play that I couldn't always position the ax blade at the same angle, further dulling the blade rather than the sharpener. And then when you try to use it, it just fell apart; When everything was assembled it had even more play.

I haven't used it much. He sharpened my ax very well x27. Doesn't work at all with the Fiskars splitting hammer (the sledgehammer is too wide). I tried to sharpen the blade of the machete and the blade bit into the plastic case. It should only be used for axes and Fiskars knives. If you're using this on other ax handles or knives, make sure the heads and blades are properly matched to the profile you want without going past whetstones.
