I haven't used it much. He sharpened my ax very well x27. Doesn't work at all with the Fiskars splitting hammer (the sledgehammer is too wide). I tried to sharpen the blade of the machete and the blade bit into the plastic case. It should only be used for axes and Fiskars knives. If you're using this on other ax handles or knives, make sure the heads and blades are properly matched to the profile you want without going past whetstones. I had to buy this from a seller in the UK as nobody sells them in the US. ? Came as promised - in about 4 weeks. For a plastic sharpening tool, the price seems a bit overpriced. But sharpening the Fiskars x27 is easy without ruining its profile. This is a must have for me as the Fiskars head is soft metal and needs frequent sharpening.
