Perfect fit best in spare parts

Fits perfectly. I'm so glad I found this. As clear as the original. I used liquid nails and double sided tape to attach. Since then no problems.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • old

simple, fast and perfect

It couldn't be simpler. Plug it right in there, no tools required. Viciously sticky tape is included. It's better to get it the first time because it doesn't move after that.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Fits perfectly - mirror and parts

Had several options, bought this one as it was the cheapest. Great, the adhesive pads were larger than the originals. It looks like the same mirror that came from the factory. I installed it on my 1998 Ford Taurus and am very satisfied.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

fits perfectly! good for bodywork and trim

After removing the foam and silicone from the swivel mount and wiping the back of the mirror with alcohol, the double sticky pads were sufficient. As a backup, I applied a thin coat of Permatex 81158 Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant, 3 oz. A tube around the inside edge of the mount to keep moisture out before replacing the glass. It was definitely the most economical replacement option and also the easiest!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Reliability

This is a mirror. Just a mirror. Nothing more.

This is a mirror. Just a mirror. Nothing more. Hopefully you have existing attachment points. No? you're out of luck It's just a piece of glass. Good glass mind you, but only glass. Good luck finding the right mounting points for your 20 year old car. It's easier (and almost cheaper) to get a complete replacement body with a free mirror. This is useful when only the glass is cracked and you have all the other insides of the mirror.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Working speed
