The seat post has a nice seat clamp design and is durable. I bought it to dampen bumps on uneven pavement and ruts on limestone sidewalks and it does a very good job. I bought the 30.9mm version to make my NCM Moscow e-bike seat more comfortable as the weight of the bike means that even on small bumps (eg B. tree root cracks in the asphalt, curb transitions, etc.). I weigh about 270 pounds, and even at max I'm probably not using the full travel. I feel like I go 1-1.5 inches just sitting on it.
