GREAT FOR VERY SMALL DETAILS

I would give it 5 stars if it didn't REALLY TURN OFF. It doesn't sag as much as a regular Apoxie Sculpt, but it still needs support (like a wire) to keep it straight. It's better for fine details and I like the longer runtimes. Even though it costs a lot more, it can save time on sanding and finishing work.

Excellent material

Molds are easy and quick to work with I used a kitchen scale when mixing to ensure parts A and B were the same. Take your time to mix fully and everything works fine. The hard texture resembles very hard plaster or clay. It breaks when dropped on concrete. I like it more than Apoxy Sculpt which gets more rubbery as it cures. A repair is expensive.

Pros
  • Sculpting materials
Cons
  • Base required

Strong, durable, sandable, paintable. I love it!

I've been using this for years and love it! I use it to set up and create horse models. Mane, tail, legs, ears. all muscles and body parts. That's great. It is extremely durable and can be dremeled, sanded and re-added. It adheres very well to resin. It smoothes out well with water but can be a little soggy and sticky so I sometimes prefer to use nail polish thinner if it's on something I'll be rubbing repeatedly with a wet brush. smooth like a mane. Dip a soft art brush in water or nail polish
