I was looking for a white striped ribbon that would be strong, won't smudge and hopefully be easy to apply. I'm happy to report that Fizik tape is what you need! I bought this yellow strap hoping it would be more comfortable than my cheap cork strap and not tear easily. It easily meets both criteria. The tape itself has a thin layer of foam on the bottom that has an adhesive (non-tacky) strip down the middle to hold the bar in place while wrapping.
