Review on 🏻 Fizik Tempo Microtex Classic with Bondcush for Enhanced Comfort and Performance by Alfredo Nosrac

The quality of the bar tape is good but it's just not what I'm used to so I'm a little disappointed in two things. First, while it's durable, it's also very thin. I'm used to thick cork strap and I expected that. This material is so thin it feels like I'm holding the bars in place even without spacers, which brings me to my second point. This material is not tough. With or without gloves, my hands slide over all of these things when wet from rain or sweat. So it's not thick enough to hold well and gets slippery. Not a very good combination. But it looks great! I have a 2015 Specialized Allez with brushed aluminum trim and green/black trim and the bar tape is near perfect and really sets the bike apart from the rest. I'll keep it for now, but won't buy it again.
