it just works - Welders and Accessories

I had a product from another manufacturer that did the same job. But the handle was plastic (on a brass pin). It rounded (plastic) as we used it to light the brewery burners. Went with that as the handle is also brass so the risk of ruining it just by opening/closing it is much less. Since I already had the end of the torch (self-igniting), I didn't need anything else. Makes lighting the charcoal in my BGE much easier (same as before).

Pros
  • Welders and Accessories
Cons
  • Not bad

DANGER: MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM

I recently hooked up a 1lb propane canister and the internal valve that threaded into the extension hose was not screwed in tight enough so that when I unscrewed the propane canister I blew out propane. . This could result in a deadly explosion. Luckily I had a multi tool in my pocket and pulled out my pliers and pulled out the internal value that was stuck in the propane valve. REMEMBER TO ENSURE THAT THE INNER VALVE THAT SCREWS INTO THE PROPANE CYLINDER IS TIGHT.

Pros
  • Propane Torch
Cons
  • Fits

I recently hooked up a 1 lb propane can and the internal valve screwed into the extension hose was not screwed in tight enough so that when the propane can was unscrewed propane came out. This could result in a deadly explosion. Luckily I had a multi tool in my pocket and pulled out my pliers and pulled out the internal value that was stuck in the propane valve. Pros
  • Flame Monitoring Valve easily measures flame and goes out when done
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
