I have purchased many of these outlet extenders over the years. It's the best I've ever tasted. It's very thin and even with maximum use of end caps you can slide furniture etc almost completely flush with the wall in front.

This flat wall socket extender is perfect when the power cord needs to be as far away as possible when the furniture is against the wall where the socket is located.
