Fantastic Router Bit for Woodworking

This router bit is a game-changer for flattening and cutting diameter surfaces while woodworking. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I can attest that this bit cuts through hardwood like butter. The sharpness and durability of the bit allow me to use it multiple times without losing its quality .However, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but considering how well it performs and its longevity, it’s well worth the investment..

Pros
  • Cuts through hardwood easily, sharpness and durability, can be used multiple times.
Cons
  • Expensive.

Dangerous - do not buy or use if you already have one!

I bought this to machine a scrap MDF board from my CNC router. I put it in the cartridge and secured it. I programmed the fly cut to remove 0.5mm in 0.25mm increments at a feed rate of 400mm/min. Very slow conservative incision. I have used this machine many times and have had to clean the surface before cutting some precision antennas. The bit hit the MDF and ripped my whole car apart. It is not clear how this happened. I looked and the entrance seemed clear and it started cutting - about 2…

  • Pleasant to use
