Okay I guess, but not for picky kitties.

So I have a cat that eats almost anything, she has a cast iron stomach because she never throws up? Well, she really liked them, but it never resulted in her throwing hairballs. But then again, it never was. However, the other two cats I have would not attempt this. I will keep trying and if I succeed I will come back and update this review.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Too long to wait

My cat says nasty things! But they worked.

My cat loves treats and ate Flavorx first. Then she won't touch them until I give them a Greenies treat. It worked for a week and now she's eating greenies and leaving Flavorx. That's bad news, although Flavorx did a really good job with her hairball problem. So a mixed review, they work if you can get your cat to eat them. I find they smell unpleasant and I can't stand the smell.

  • Very good value for money

Cats love the taste

I have a long haired cat and a short haired cat but they both shed terribly in the spring and get hairballs so I needed something to take care of that but also something they would be happy to take . These hard rectangular treats were an instant hit. They were hooked from the moment I opened the bottle and they smelled the scent. They also like the taste. I thought they were pretty heavy and hard, but turns out they're quite easily chewed by cats, like dry cat food. As for hairballs, it's only…

Three out of four cats say YES!

Expecting more hairballs now that it's warmer, so I ordered them. (I can't say I've had great success with other hairball treats, but who knows, hope is eternal.) I can never predict what treats my cats will take, and of course my three short haired cats love them. this one, while the long haired one who really, REALLY needs help with hairballs can't resist sniffing it and walking away. Oh well. Because they are a little big, I break them in half when I give them to my cats. Although I think…

But they work fine.

We have six cats, all with thick hair and two with long hair. Now that it's warmer, they're shedding a lot, despite all our combing. I thought these Ball Busters would help a lot. And they work, but none of our six cats love the taste. It really surprised me. They went for it on the first day, but despite the fact that I had them locked tight, they lost interest after that first round. They don't mind, but my hope that I could just hand out treats was dashed. Ball Busters are made with good…

Kevin loves them but they still have hairballs.

My Maine Coon Kevin is a real idiot. He pushes things off the shelves, he tries to eat my favorite plants but never any that I don't really like, he runs around the room jumping off and knocking over furniture, he comes to my other cats while they are sleeping, and bites her on the back to wake him up so he can sit there and he insults us all the time in a low voice. So it's probably not surprising that even these tried-and-true yarn ball treats didn't work for him. All my cats love their…
