Works best in leatherwork

I use it in my drill to finish sharpening chisels and planes. They come out very sharp, but I think a piece of leather on a board would work better.

Pros
  • , understandable also for the old
Cons

These are the best!

When you need dangerously sharp tools, use this fine green chrome-plated grinder. Resharpening takes only a minute, which makes a world of difference when working with hardwoods. If you use course compound you can actually shape the edge.

This is a very cute little sling

This is a very cute little sling. I put it in my bench drill and set the belts to OEM SPEED. JUST TOUCH THE STEEL, it polishes beautifully. Dressing him with knives and razors will give you an unbeatable advantage. live out

It's great for holding a blade on top of an already sharp blade.

This power belt works but I have no way of using it to sharpen a not yet sharp blade with this product. It's great for holding a blade on an already sharp blade, but not so much for taking a dull blade and sharpening it. Maybe it's my experience or I don't have the right RPM when using it. It's ok but I wouldn't pay a fortune for it and figured I could sharpen all the knives.

Pros
  • The fastest way to sharpen any Flexcut tool
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Leather belt for knives

I use it with a set of paper wheels to sharpen knives. The power belt is the final step. I cover the circle with a green polishing paste and finish the knife with it. When used correctly, the knife blade becomes razor sharp. Using it with a drill takes some getting used to. I would have preferred a 6" or 8" round leather wheel for my grinder, but I couldn't find one that fits the universal 1/2" shanks and doesn't have a chamfer. If you are using a vertical shaft wheel, you must learn how to…

Pros

  • Some little things
