Our 75 lb 11 year old dog has been using this product for almost a year and it helps him a lot when he gets up and walks up the stairs in a high rise building. When he started showing stiffness in his hind legs we started giving him a popular product in the form of chewable tablets but to no avail.

I can't rate the taste because I haven't tried it. I give it to two 12 year old boxers; They just started and from the past it takes time to work. But I do know that when I started giving it to an old rooster who could barely walk, she spent an active life chasing squirrels and cats for two years.

I have been using this for years on one of our pets who has since passed away but I swear this product has given her two more years of pain free life. We have now rescued two, one with a sore hip and with this product she can hop on the bed and have a little more energy. It's great for humans too. It's actually the same product, but of course the dosage is different.

I am convinced that this addition has given my old, arthritic Great Dane a new life. He hasn't become a puppy again, of course, but it has helped strengthen his hindquarters and now (thank goodness) he needs less help than before. It didn't happen overnight. I'm on my fourth bottle of this stuff, but it'll be part of his diet until he crosses the bridge. To attempt!

My dog has arthritis which was anticipated due to a cruciate ligament rupture in one leg and the other leg probably needed surgery at some point. I've found that mixing a small amount of water in his diet twice a day has a marked impact on how far he can walk, how high he can jump and just general stiffness when standing up. It doesn't work miracles but I think it's worth what I pay for and it's a much better choice than dangerous painkillers.
