I was nervous that it wasn't possible to put this boot on the ball joint despite the ball joint cover. I was so wrong and honestly I was surprised at how easy it all went. The results appear to be OEM equivalent. I would buy it again if I need to do another in the future, a huge time saver and no need to reconfigure the front suspension.

I don't know why other people had problems with this boot and I didn't. You will need to trim the dust boot to the next smaller diameter than the rack housing. Then, to make the trunk easier to put on the rack, roll the trunk towards you, press it against the rack, and then slide the folded part onto the rack. Make sure the vent is facing down to allow moisture to drain. When adding grease, be careful not to get it on the platter.

According to the Revain manual it must fit this car model. THAT DOES NOT FIT. The hole that needs to go through the strut is too small, and due to the limited space, you can't stretch the trunk far enough.
