Lightweight Hybrid Flexzilla Fittings in ZillaGreen Review

I had an issue with my compressor not powering my impact wrench properly. I could hold the crown and pull the trigger and the key wouldn't budge. However, I was able to plug the same wrench directly into my compressor without a hose and it performed much better. I don't have the tools to measure, but it seemed to me that a 50ft Flex Zilla hose with the same fittings as my OEM 1/4" hose would give me the same impact wrench performance since it doesn't have a hose at all .

My 15 year old polypropylene tubing was leaking through the pin hole so I decided to try this as a replacement. The hose is definitely light and that might be fine for some people, but I have a feeling it could almost be light. As mentioned, it has a mind of its own when you untap it. The hose seems to want to curl up into small bends as it is routed. Interestingly, that's because the material is so light that it can't sustain the memory in the material, if that makes sense. I have over 1000 feet of old blue hose. This hose is lighter and appears to hold up to the installation crew. I would buy again. To update. I bought 2 more of these hoses, the first 2 were in good condition and I still use them, but the last 2 I bought swelled up when connected to air as if there was a defect. Both broke on day one. Not the best air hose but the best. I also have Flexzilla garden hoses. It is lighter than my other tubes and is very easy to roll up and use when cold. Very durable. ATTENTION. Can't stand being run over by a snowplow. LAUGH OUT LOUD. When I unraveled it, all I had was a leak from the six or so notches in the outer shell. I bought a 50 foot 1/4 inch hose to use with my portable compressor. I then shortened it to 15 and 35 feet and used the Flexzilla replacement. It worked great. The tubing was easily cut with a razor and their interchangeable ends fitted perfectly. both are made of aluminum. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief.
