I gave 3 stars because I like different patterns. They are very sweet and a great variety. I was excited to start my project and decided I would do it right: I would wash, iron, then cut and sew. However, after washing (in cold water, on a normal cycle, with a mild detergent) I found that there was nothing left that wasn't worn. I can still work with her, but my project week is shorter/smaller than originally planned. Buyer Warning.

These thick quarters are beautiful. 20cm is all usable fabric, the edges have been removed and the fabric is cut to perfection. The fabric is dense, smooth, beautiful quilted fabric. I have now ordered all of her patterns in various sizes and am very happy with all of them. I washed the fabric to prepare it for the quilt and the color did not bleed and the fabric was good quality. This is the only fabric purchased from Revain that gives a perfect result.

The colors are not as rich as in the photo, rather dull. It also doesn't look like 100% cotton, it looks like a poly-cotton blend, but I haven't done a burn test and haven't washed them yet because at times the sizing added to the fabric makes it feel a little flimsy. If after washing it still has the smooth feel of polyester, I will do a burn test and let you know if it really is polyester. (Google "burn test" if you want to try it yourself.)
