Works great - seaweed scraper

They fit the big fin perfectly and are a lot cheaper than buying new. I only swap mine out when they stop removing dirt from my tank sides and they last a long time!

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Scratched for aquarium cleaning

I have been using Flipper in several aquariums for years, this is the first time my aquarium has been scratched. Yes I know how to use it, there was no sand in the blades and I take out the magnets between each use. Really disappointed.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

Cleans great!: Algae scraper

Works perfectly. My last one was about 6 months old and didn't mind the glass much. It got really difficult. I didn't think the new one would be able to remove some of the bad stuff, but it removed it right away. Change them often!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Luckily wrong - seaweed scraper

When I bought these I was sure they would not improve the performance of my scraper. But I didn't want to pay $40 for a new one if at $16 I was going to be able to use my old device for a few more years. I'm glad I was wrong. They turned my old scraper into a new one. Yeah they're still crazy at $16 but they work and the old way is I should get 5 or 6 yrs off them so not too bad.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, it's ok

Great Scraper!: Algae Scraper

I did a little research to find out what the best aquarium glass scraper is. It's always been at the top of everyone's list. I decided to give it a try. It's a little pricey, but it works great! It has a very strong magnet. I can clean my aquariums in minutes. It takes a bit of practice to get it to "flip", but I always use the side of the scraper anyway. It works exactly as advertised and I am very happy with this product!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Useless Features

Great replacement for the pinball cleaner

As a saltwater aquarium enthusiast, the pinball magnet cleaner was probably one of the best purchases I've made for my reef. These blades are the perfect replacement for the original blade that came with the pinball cleaner. I don't leave the cleaner in the water all the time, I put it in the tank to clean the glass about every week. I can say I never clean or dry these blades after use and have never had rust spots so I think it would be really good to leave them in the tank all the time…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
