One of the dies broke after about 5 uses. The seller didn't respond when I contacted them about the problem so I ended up returning.

There seems to be a little flaw in the manufacturing of this part. When squeezing the grommets together, they never lined up, leading to many duets. Not what I was looking for, returned due to poor quality.

The part was formed incorrectly and the base cannot sit flush, resulting in a third of the hole not being punched. I have to use a blade to cut out the rest of the hole.

Good liner machine. The versatility of interchangeable dies is a plus. It works best when permanently attached to a table or work surface. Otherwise it's a bit hard to control/wiggle.

The press works well although I had to put some WD40 on the cylinder to get it free and upright again. The bushings are really thin so I will have to buy better ones. I use coroplast for real estate signs so they are probably a bit thick for these grommets.

After 2 hours of filing and grinding I was actually able to mount the bushing. The quality controller definitely fell asleep when he passed the casting. It looked out of shape and went straight to painting. There were sharp and jagged castings all over the press. The casting of the handle was so poor I would cut my hand if it wasn't sanded and sanded before use. I ended up returning this product before I could use it. The repair was clearly of poor quality - the paint was peeling off, the nib was very worn. This was surprising as it was listed as new. I knew I was taking a chance buying it based on the reviews. I should have listened. But I got my money back.

There is nothing made in China that I can give 5 stars for, but this tool is probably the best money can buy. It is best to attach it to a stable base, which is not very convenient for mobile use. Solid castings, but joints loosen quickly under heavy use. Luckily, hinge bolts and nuts are inexpensive and available at any hardware store. Overall I'm very happy with this press for the price. I didn't have the alignment issues that some other reviewers have mentioned. The instructions that came with my device were adequate but not perfect. The instructions consist of a sheet of paper the size of an application. Mine are badly faded and torn from being thrown in the press box (see attached image).
