Not like in the photo. in spare parts

The filter is fine and working. But as others have pointed out, it comes with threaded ends. Not prickly like in the photo. Then the purchase of barbed wire is required. You really need to fix this.

Wrong part or wrong picture!

Like everyone else, I received a different strainer than the one pictured. Now I have to go to the hardware and try to find barbed hose fittings to match the actual threaded fittings that are there.

Pros
  • Fuel pumps and accessories
Cons
  • Wrinkled

WRONG PICTURE, this is P/N 1740004A, 1/2 " QEST as per title

So the picture is wrong but the P/N is correct, what can we trust? I don't know. On the Packaging says on the back that it is a 1/2" QEST version, part number 01740004A as described. Still, it appears to be a well-made product. Specifications for this particular model: Materials Base: Polypropylene, black Cover: Polycarbonate, clear Screen: Stainless steel (40 mesh) SEALING RINGS: EPDMTemperature: 160F(70C) MaxFlow (GPM/LPM)3/4" (7/27)QEST ( 6/23)1/2" (4/16)3/8" (2/8) Pressure: 70 PSI (5 bar)…

Pros
  • Fuel System
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

No serration and not the first customer to get a thread

Product is advertised as 1/2 inch serrated but comes with 1/2 inch thread. It doesn't work without an additional 1/2" socket to 1/2" plug. Various other complaints indicate that the seller advertises a spiked filter but is actually selling a threaded filter. Customers don't know it until it gets in the mail. Why? Because some people make a living and don't need to exchange reviews to make sure the advertised product actually sells, and plumbing (as anyone who's tried to put two things together…
