FloraCraft Floral Wire Cutter 6.5 Inch Green Review

I ordered these wire cutters to cut thin wire for craft projects. I saw that they had good reviews and it's a pretty simple tool, so I didn't hesitate.I opened them as soon as they arrived to give them a try. Upon opening them the first thing I noticed was that they looked like they might have been used. The next thing I noticed was that they worked very poorly. First arrival had a problem with spring. Product was easily returned and new pair was sent to us fast. Second pair works well.

What a fantastic tool. I find the longer 6-1/2 handles more easier to manage over shorter handles. Gives the user more control over tool and easier to grip and snip with the padded handle.

Bought thinking it would be good for trimming down floral pins that are too long (they stick out of wreaths). However, are a little challenging to cut with this wire cutter.The floral pins are slightly too thick. Or maybe I should build more palm/hand strength. Also, the cutter arrived and had some residue on the handle and on the metal parts, making it a little sticky where the blades are. I'm sure this'll be handy for other household purposes though.

This tool is great to have in your tool box for gum paste flower designs. Cutting wire stems, especially with a low gauge can destroy your scissors and not to mention your hand and wrist. It's inexpensive and worth the money.

These work very well for cutting floral stems. The only problem is that they have no mechanism to close them after use, much like garden pruners do. Somewhat unsafe.

These wire cutters are fine; however, they arrived used. Were I paying for used wire cutters, I would be okay with the condition in which they arrived. I paid for new ones. Buyer beware.

Nice clippers but not strong enough to cut the plastic covered wire stems of my artificial flowers so I sent them back. Prone to rusting after prolonged use!

The outside finish of the metal looks like the crude finish you often see on Chinese or Indian tools, but don’t let that fool you. It cuts through the wire of plastic flowers with little effort.

These were great for cutting my flowers that I made for Memorial day. Much better than I expected actually. Very pleased with them. Great quality.

Yikes! I ordered a pair of wire cutters to create some floral arrangements for my home, and was shocked when I opened my prime envelope to find a stapled up box with USED wire cutters in them. Not only were they used, they were filthy and dull! Very disappointed :(

These wire cutters came right on time for me to complete some projects! They have only been used for less than a week, but as of now, I am quite satisfied with the quality.

Worked very well for cutting artificial flower stem. I had considered buying a very expensive tool but needed it only to create one bouquet for a gravesite. I saw this one and decided to try it. Once I figured out how to hold the tool and twist the stem, it went very quickly. Glad I bought this one.
