Loud but not too loud.

It's definitely louder than you might think, but not too loud. Sounds good. Good cold start sound, quiet on the highway and around 2000 rpm. You can talk and think in the cockpit without the drone being too loud and needing to be talked about. Runs loud under load. Good device, good sound. I have a Chevy 6.0L.

I have a 2001 Gasoline Chevy Silverado 2500HD that I installed this on and it's great! Not too noisy in the cab

Exactly what I was looking for! I have a 2001 Gasoline Chevy Silverado 2500HD that I installed this on and it's great! Not too loud in the cockpit, no more hum driving me crazy! I used to have a Dynamax and it was awful. I wish I had followed my intuition and bought a Flowmaster straight away! Sounds good. I wanted an exhaust that screams when it should and then shuts off on the freeway and that's almost what you can get!

UPDATE BELLOWS. First let me say that Flowmaster makes a great product and what they describe is usually true. So when they say that this muffler absorbs resonance and eliminates noise in the cabin, they are NOT kidding! I installed it on a 2002 2500hd Silverado with extended 6.0 liter Vortec cab.
