🔊 Flow Fx 3.00 (Off/Cen) Exhaust Muffler: Enhancing Performance and Sound Review

I have a Chevy Colorado 5.3 I liked how it sounded in the video reviews and what not. So I made a purchase. Sounds great, gives a nice deep rumble but wish it was a little louder.

I have to say I don't like the Flowmaster 😞 I don't hate the sound it makes, just drop it a bit. Put it on c10 ls1 had to throw it down it was so loaded / straight pipe wife is happier ☺!

Muffler fits perfectly, the sound is soft, deep and powerful. For the price you can't go wrong. Overall the product is just perfect but a little more attention to the packaging would be the only improvement, no damage just a little sloppy packaging. I would decently recommend buying it again.

Don't know how long it will last in everyday use but I really don't care if it's for my race car which is only used sporadically. The body measures 14 x 9 inches. x 4" thick, total length with hose 20". The pipes are the correct 3.04" ID, allowing even a slightly oversized 3" OD pipe to fit (although it narrows down to a typical 3" ID pipe in the muffler).

I bought this muffler to muffle the exhaust of my RAM 1500 5.7. I used to have a Magnaflow Glasspack, while I like the sound, it was too loud and obnoxious. I got this muffler thinking it would be a little louder than stock but handier than the double glazing it replaced. But to my surprise, it was too quiet for my liking. This is the case when only the muffler and resonator are removed. I'll let it run a little longer in hopes that it will eventually get louder. Otherwise I love the damper.

Well, first off, the sound of this exhaust is amazing. It's deep and husky, without the hoarse and tinny sound of a muffler with a Flowmaster chamber. However, I bought it for my 4x4 project with a 350 SBC engine, I need an exhaust I can hear without serious hum. It doesn't hum at all, but it's too quiet in my opinion. That's only noticeable from the outside or with both windows open at low speeds if the wind doesn't drown it out. I think this is a great exhaust for a lot of people who want…
