Pleasant growl for your engine

More of a growl than a rumble. Let people know you've got American muscle under your hood without upsetting your neighbors every time you start your engine. Putting on my 5.3 Silverado

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • So-so

Still, drones are good for exhaust fumes and emissions

I had a 40 series and wanted something with fewer drones, after some research I settled on Delta 50, had it professionally installed and was very pleased, but it always booms still just like 40 between 1500-2100rpm, below 60mph it's quiet because you don't refuel but as soon as you go downhill it starts to suck, unfortunately it was welded on but I'll try a big block 50 or series 70 next, me can't stand the drone.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Safety

Same sound, less hum

I bought my first set of Flowmaster mufflers in 1999 and loved the sound. I had a two-camera in my current day-to-day life, but the drone was too much without a converter. After replacing the camshaft it got 20% louder so it was time to buy the 50 series. Same great sound, much less hum.

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Some cons

Still drones on silencers

I had a 40 series and wanted something with fewer drones, after some research I settled on the Delta 50, had it professionally installed and was very excited but it's still the drone like 40 between 1500- 2100 rpm, below 60 mph it's quiet, you hit the gas slightly but as soon as you go down it starts annoying, unfortunately it was welded on but I'll do it with 50. Big Block or 70 Try series, I can't stand the drone.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Low repairability

Good sound and quiet in the cabin

I started with the Flowmaster Super 10. I knew it was going to be a very loud, aggressive sound, so I installed it as close to the back of the cab as possible. car as far as possible. The sound is excellent and the city is normal. But then my wife and I went to the mountains and it was awful! Too loud in the cabin. I chose this silencer and what is the difference. It still has an aggressive sound but no cockpit headaches! My wife still says she can hear me walking down the street, but it's…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some shortcomings
