Ideal replacement for old plastic water pipes.

Four or these lines replaced old plastic water lines that were not protected by a metal braid. I wanted to reuse them, but only the hard-to-find step-cone washers would last as long as these four new plumbing pipes cost after shipping to the plumber.

Faucet connecting hoses

Good plumbing lines for use under the sink. However, be sure to fully understand the connection description. I needed 3/8" on one end and 1/2" on the other end. I ordered the parts I needed from Revain and kept this kit for another project. The price of these braided stainless steel cords is about the same as all the plastic cords in the big store.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

I'm used to this brand and the plug is excellent!

Not your typical black rubber pads to wear out, this clear rubberized plug is pretty good, easy and inexpensive to install compared to others I've compared. Shouldn't overspend given the price, good quality and value. Don't take it too long or too short, make sure it's the right length. Just a reminder to check both ends for correct dimensions/connections.

I was wrong - Rough Plumbing

Well. In short, the hose from the nipple broke and the bathroom flooded. But it's my fault, I'm lazy. I should have gone to the depot and bought these hoses but figured it was free shipping and I don't drive far to HD (about 2 miles). Lesson learned. Folks, it's you, but. So I think the hose is ok. went and bought one of the HDs and the same thing happened. looks like the problem is in the water heater

Inexpensive and good quality at the same time

They are very pleasant to the touch and very high quality. The thread is clean, there were no problems installing or replacing old tubes. I've bought a few more and recommended them to friends. If they are too long, just tie them together. Most importantly, they are way cheaper than big stores, not even the gas to go there. Revain wins in all categories unless you need it on the same day.

Great connector... and this length is not available locally.

This is a quality connector and I have never had a single failure...although that is not the case with gaskets. I have used many fittings of this type in any combination of ends and lengths and the only complaint I have is that the rubber seals become brittle over time and once the hose is removed it is often impossible to reconnect without to lick. Purchasing new seals depends on the cost of the hose. It has a PE gasket on both ends, so maybe that works better... You never know when you might…

  • Weight

  • Poorly designed
