I've only had problems with this product. It seemed such a good idea. I bought a crystal ball that broke when plugged in. We called the company and paid 60.00 for a new one, they will not replace it for free (which should have been a warning sign). The engine died a week later. It was during the return so there was nothing I could do. I thought I might have gotten a bad one, so I've ordered another one for next Christmas. They replaced the light with an LED, but the motor didn't work right out…

This thing is pretty cool. It fully illuminates my 60 foot wide house with garage. I definitely noticed several cars stopping to watch the snow fall. Works best in areas you haven't covered. I confirm that this is evidence of rain. I placed the light and sphere block on some weatherproof boards for stability. I would definitely buy again.
