It's nice however the base feels like plastic. A large doodle felt like it was going to break it off the table. This was a friendly dog, just wiggle and the arm looked like it was going to bend. If it was for home use on small dogs, then its great.

This foldable arm was EASY to use and has 3 helper straps of which 2 are nicely padded with foam rubber. I already used it. It worked best!

This unit is strong, easy to set up, attaches well to counter top and helps my Bischon to stand up so I can dry her without having to lifter her butt up. The neck halter unclips easy but the belly halter is harder to remove (not the same clip). I wish belly clip was same as neck. But it is still a good strong unit for medium to small dogs.

Guys, why pay more $ for a pet grooming table and arm when you can purchase this for much less and use it on any table or counter? It clamps down safely and securely to anything that has a lip on it. It assembles and disassembles with ease. It makes grooming your pet so much faster and easier! I do want to add that the paper that comes with this states that it is to be used with pets UP to 30lbs.

The top arm of this product is able to fold for storage, but it is unable to tighten enough to hold itself in place. So when I tried to groom my (small 10lb) puppy, I had to constantly push it back up and eventually had to use my shoulder to keep it up as it just kept collapsing. Do not recommend

The concept is great but my 4 month old mini bernedoodle (17 lbs) could wiggle out of this in two seconds. She is like a worm and hates being groomed. Forget about using the clippers. she goes nuts! If you have a small dog who loves being pampered it will work.

I was hoping to repurpose one of the extra folding tables I have in my basement for dog grooming using this arm. I could attach it to the plastic table, but not secure it well enough to keep it attached. The heavier composite table has a metal frame for the legs. This product actually exceeded my expectations. I was able to use it to trim the nails on a couple of my dogs who usually squirm and scream when I've tried in the past. I was also able to use it to trim the hair on my 6 lb Pomeranian who has anger-management issues.
