The perfectly sealed jar.

I was looking for a 2 gallon glass jar to store our cold ground coffee and this jar is perfect. I needed something to seal what's happening. It also came with an additional seal. It holds 2 ground coffees and looks inviting in my kitchen. I am planning to buy another one to store our regular ground coffee.

I expected much more from this item. I couldn't even wash them to use them.

As soon as I poured water in each of the two I bought they both cracked completely at the bottom. Yes, they were room temperature before I added detergent. Totally unsuitable for pumping liquid or dry cargo. What a waste of money. Very disappointed with this product. 🤨

Good tin for the money

The quality of the tin is very good. I use it to store Pennsylvania Dutch pickled eggs and it doesn't seem to leak. It comes with a second seal to prevent leakage when used to store liquids instead of dry foods. The thickness of the glass is quite decent. The only part that feels a little flimsy is the locking mechanism; Although after 3 weeks of use there was no sign of failure.

Big Tin of Kombucha, the best in cans

I bought these to make small batches of kombucha in. I used to use a huge jar that was difficult to maneuver. This one is perfect and makes about 6 pints of kombucha with plenty of liquid reserved for the mom. They send him in the washing machine and I just cover him with gauze so he can breathe. Fits snugly and compactly in my closet. I took off the pads for washing and everything was fine in the washing machine. This big old glass is used 1000 times!

Useful product

The visible vertical view from the casting process is a bit annoying. However, it seals very well (be careful of your fingers when you open it, it can get inside) and the extra sealing is well thought out. Marinated eggs in it (38 but could have been more, probably 50) and fermented cabbage. The seal doesn't retain the smell, which is nice. The only thing I really complain about is that the mouth could have been a bit wider, but only because it's difficult for me to get my hands out and clean…

Nice glass at a good price but not 100% leakproof

Nice glass. It's heavy, with glass probably not breaking easily. Absolutely clear. Reasonable price. It's big enough for more than 8 cans of lemons. The only downside is that it leaks a bit when rolled over. When canning lemons, I like to tip them on their sides and even upside down to stir the kosher salt and sugar at the bottom. But every tilt causes a small leak. But I'll definitely buy it again if I need another jar with a tight, but not completely tight, lid.

(ADDITIONAL ADDED) Glass bottom fell apart, poured a gallon of product

Was on the shelf for a week, picked it up and the glass bottom literally came off (see photo). I don't know what to do here. The guarantee link didn't contain any useful information and still I lost about $50 of the product I injected. To be honest I'll wait and see if the seller gets in touch with me, but for now I'd advise "DO NOT BUY". EPISODE 11/12.
