Output quality seems good. Quite an achievement fighting them on wheels, really. I ended up using 2x4 spacers, a quick clamp, foaming hand soap, over 500 pounds of my own weight and lots of swearing. Swearing is probably optional, but I felt better.

Anyone complaining about wearing them is obviously doing something wrong. I never warmed them up. I added a little dish soap and processed them with ease. No zip ties, nothing weird, they just spin like any other tire. Don't leave negative comments if you try to get them wrong.

Great tires! A friend helped me and we swapped both wheels on different occasions. Definitely a job for two. To put the wheel on the front motor, my friend and I had to stand on either end of the tire. It's hard work, but I'm looking at the issue, not how hard the work was. The tires themselves look good and I'm glad I no longer have to worry about them blowing out.

Reliable product - I've watched a number of YouTube videos and tried fitting the wheels myself but it didn't work - it was too difficult - ended up taking them to the bike shop and installing them. They quoted me $100 but by that time I had already removed the wheels myself and just brought them - then they only charged me $50. I definitely think he's going a lot faster now.

Yes, they are difficult to put on. This is part of using a solid tire. I spent about 45 minutes on one hoop from start to finish. Once upon a time these tires worked great. The red ones give my scooter a distinctive look and let people know I'm serious about riding a scooter. I fly with a smile and no worries about nails and broken glass. Great replacement inflatable tire for my Gotrax GXL v2. But damn, it was hard to shoot the original first and then watch a video of how it was supposed to just slide on a rim with a solid tire. Not as much. First you have to boil it for 10-15 minutes so it can at least stretch a little on the rim, then some lube, we used silicone, then a lot of pushing and pulling later, finally done. But it fits and works great and drives well, we don't notice any difference in handling.

I got these wheels in exchange for the Hover 1 electric scooter my mum gave me. There was a hole in the front wheel/tube so I thought I'd get these so I don't have to worry about holes anymore. REI and a few local bike shops are obviously difficult to install. I've read that heating/boiling helps give them shape and flexibility when installing, but that seems like a long project. I can't believe so many of you gave these tires 5 stars. The ride quality was so terrible I took it off and returned it for a refund. I tried to get used to them, but it didn't work out. I rode the scooter 24 miles and still couldn't handle these tires. For me it only took about 30 minutes to install using C-clamps and pry bar.
