See the size of the squares on the Back of the box If you zoom in and take a look, the center dot marker in a square is good, and if you're picky about cropping a particular image, having no other measurement markers on them is probably a useful feature.

I need a 5 inch square so thought it would be great to get a set in multiple sizes. I'm new to quilting so I spent 2 hours cutting my 5 inch squares. I've already cut them with other squares I've bought and found the size was wrong. I measured and it was 5 and 1/2 inches. The box says it has a 1/4" matte seam allowance all the way around. Why?
