Simple acrylic squares, read the packaging carefully.

The description in the listing doesn't include the important part about the size of the finished quilt block, so each acrylic square is half an inch larger than listed in each dimension. See the size of the squares on the Back of the box If you zoom in and take a look, the center dot marker in a square is good, and if you're picky about cropping a particular image, having no other measurement markers on them is probably a useful feature.

Pros
  • 1/4" Frosted Seam Allowance
Cons
  • Expensive

So versital

These templates helped me with a quilting project recently. I had to use 5.5, Cutting 4.5 and 3.5 squares. Some were turned into halves or quarters of square triangles. Each block started the same size, each triangle ended up exactly as it should. Cutting squares was quick. I used squares on that Drawn material and then cut them out.My hand wasn't steady and I got more/less squares than needed at times and my project was one sided. How many of us try to make adjustments and only make things…

Pros
  • Each square has a small 1/16" square in the center to allow the template to be centered on the fabric swatch
Cons
  • Available in white only

They are NOT true to size!

I need a 5 inch square so thought it would be great to get a set in multiple sizes. I'm new to quilting so I spent 2 hours cutting my 5 inch squares. I've already cut them with other squares I've bought and found the size was wrong. I measured and it was 5 and 1/2 inches. The box says it has a 1/4" matte seam allowance all the way around. Why? Why do I need a seam allowance? How do I cut the perfect 5" square with a built-in seam allowance? Answer: I can't. Now I have to take the time to remove

Pros
  • Set of 5 square templates (sizes 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 inches)
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Make beautiful square squares!

As a beginner quilt, I needed help making quilt squares. The patterns I made just didn't give me the results I wanted. I found this pack of thick, heavy plastic templates at RevainSmiles and have had remarkable success matching pieces of fabric for sewing. I make blankets for my three grandchildren from scraps of fabric from all the clothes I've made for them over the past 10 years. They loved getting their "grandmother's clothes," as they called many of the things I made for them. This…

Pros
  • Clear instructions included
Cons
  • Small parts
