To unpack you will need industrial scissors and gloves.

The flexometer isn't bad, but it took me a lot to use this "thing". I broke a pair of scissors and also cut myself on the plastic. I cut where the opening instructions said and after a few minutes it turned out that the flexometer had caught on a metal flange which broke when pulled. It's amazing that plastic can break a piece of metal. I can't give it more stars because it seems like overkill to spend so much and reluctantly on plastic to have the tape measure out and get hit easily.

can't be used for internal measurements

I may have a bad block but I like this tape but I can't use it for internal measurements. I ripped out some boards on a table saw and used them to measure the placement of the fence. After a few cuts, my son measured one of the boards and found it to be about 16 inches wide. Checked everything that was cut and found the same thing. Couldn't figure out what was going on until I took my old tape, made a cut and the width was accurate. Like tape, but constantly taking another tape was too much, so

Pros
  • Easy to read panel

Best time saver on measurement and layout tools

Great idea. Can't wait to use it on larger projects as I just tried it to see how accurate it really is. No problem. This tape saves me from always having to carry a pencil with me. The line is crisp and clear, and the tape measure is well made. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is that I would like to see a way to secure the end so I can make a circular pattern and it doesn't. not as heavy as my Stanley FatMax cassettes. This band still stretches quite a bit, but won't handle the wind…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not as fast as we would like!

Great tape, saves time marking but has 2 downsides. The tape itself is flimsy and not very thick, so it cannot withstand stretching, allowing you to measure large areas. The second issue is that the button that keeps the tape from moving doesn't work very well and it's very difficult to stop where you need it (making it a bit more labor intensive), which doesn't help save time on pencil marks to save because I catch myself making that special pencil mark! Great marker for drywall! Works great…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Good product. Not as hard as you would like.

I saw a video of this product in a Facebook ad. I'm usually skeptical of these types of products as they usually aren't what they're made for. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It is very convenient and easy to use for projects. Mainly woodwork and drywall. It's very easy to draw a straight line across a large panel of material to make a long cut. Or pre-install a tape measure with a measure and mark in hard-to-reach places. My only complaint is that it's a bit finicky. Definitely intended…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
