Perfect for a half 1x installation

That's exactly what it should be. Half of the controls needed to install a bike with a chain, 1x (one at a time). Commonly used in cyclocross racing. Left remote sold separately. Only the front wheel brake is applied.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Low maintenance

This is a SRAM product what more can I say. The Doubletap is so comfortable to use compared to the Ultegra 6800 switching system, which sucks in my opinion! I actually replaced my entire drivetrain with a SRAM Red 22 front derailleur and rear derailleur and a sheet metal Ultegra grip with a SRAM Red 22 exogram. Lever. Love, love, love how quiet and smooth the shifting is now.

Great 11 speed setup

This group program is fantastic. If you're a SRAM fan and love the way they shift, you can't go wrong with the Force 22. I swapped out my entire SRAM Rival groupset for the Force 22 and the difference is significant. The shifters require significantly less effort than the Rival groupset and shifting is precise and precise. On my Rival I had to be careful when shifting reverse (low to high) or I jumped up and down a few gears quite easily. This was mainly due to the amount of pressure required…
