Inertial fuel pump safety switch matches the one that comes with the truck. So far my new one works with no problems. The one I removed worked fine for 15 years so it may be a while before I know how long the one I just installed will work without hiccups.

I used it as a safety device for an electric fuel pump on a vintage car. It's easy to check, just reset the button, check for continuity, then press the switch in your hand and you'll see the mechanism turn off. Once you have the wiring sketched, use the long #10 screws to attach it to the chassis member. I don't know what the current rating is so I used that to trigger the relay.
