Killer on Knarly Trails

I installed them on my new Reid Ares. I ride my Reid over soft grass, pebbles, mud and steep descents, and those bumps are brutal, man. These are NOT lightweight toys. These are full-fledged large animals that can adapt to any type of environment. They easily handle bumps on rough trails while offering comfort and control. I LOVE HER! Highly recommended.

The measurements in the photo in the ad are wrong!

I bought this fork because of the measurements shown in the photo, I didn't want to raise my bike too high in the front. The display shows a distance of 517 mm between the axis and the crown. Not right! Fork 530mm. The display shows a head tube length of 205 mm. Not right! Head tube length 220 mm. The head tube can be cut off, but the fork length cannot be shortened. The weight of the fork is also very large, not the weight as advertised. Very disappointed with the purchase of this fork, sent…

If your expectations are well informed, these forks will exceed them.

They were installed on my Ecotric Fattie to cushion the bumps my shoulders had on the stock ribbed front end. They absolutely do it with the T. Adjustment is done with air, spring and rebound rather than color-coded plastic shims or simple spring preload. The hanging side can also be locked. These forks are a great upgrade for eBike Fatties or Dolomite Fatties. I upgraded the bearing set and head bar of my choice. This is the Bolt on 26" Beach/Snow Tired Ecotric E-Bikes.

It took a few months and two tries, but I've got the fork.

Bought May, appeared August, was damaged, unusable and obviously used. The support was "quick" for me. They said not to worry and it's moving on, but that's all they really said. No tracking etc. As for the fork, don't ride the trail with it. I'm comfortable using my e-bike for easy riding, but as a former downhiller and mountain biker, I would never ride it on a trail. Otherwise, I hope it holds up and doesn't break in half. I installed it on a radover instead of a standard plug. Do not offer…

The shocks were great until they

I replaced my original Juiced Ripcurrent fork with these knockoffs as the straight head tube construction made it my only choice. I really wanted a higher quality fork like the Rockshock Bluto but it didn't work. I tried them and sure enough, after a few months and a few trail rides (nothing crazy, just dirt) they broke. The suspension bars appeared to have snapped off their internal mounts, almost allowing the top of the fork to come out when the bike is jacked up. I contacted the manufacturer

This useless junk is best in Parts & Components

UPDATE: After driving this thing for a few months and trying to get it working properly, the fact is it's good ol' junk . It behaves like a coil-spring fork that just has a Schrader valving that feels like something and an air fork. It rattles. It's as tough as overcooked pasta. I'll probably throw it away and reinstall the original hard fork. $200 wasted. It has a warning notice that I wasn't aware of before buying it. It warns against downhill or freeride use. I don't do that, which is why I…
