🪚 Forney 72390 Dresser: Perfect Tool for Bench Grinding Wheels, 10-1/2"! Review

Nearly the gold standard for disc tools. Works well, lasts, parts are interchangeable. I can even use it on whetstones I find.

Works as expected. I cleaned and threaded a 46 grit carbide wheel in seconds with very little chainring wear. Also put on a blue steering wheel but had to use a very light touch.

Bought for use with an 8" bench grinder. PRO Works well and is easy to sue. Sturdy, durable construction and design. high

The tool works well. I only need it occasionally, but it's well built. I also bought spare cutters so I have them when I need them. I would recommend this to others. It is probably not suitable for daily or intensive use.

This wheel dresser is very useful for rough dressing, meaning initial dressing of a new wheel or repairing damage, but I would recommend having a diamond tool for final dressing if you are reusing a grinder to sharpen a guide tool.

Bought to replace another brand that broke. It was actually half the price of what I replaced and was much stronger. I couldn't find it in town so I bought it off Amazon and hoped for the best. I was very satisfied, as I said, it's half the price, more durable and you can swap wheels with it. I tried this the other day and it worked great.

This dressing tool did a good job of dressing a new stone I bought which was not round but the tool did during the process suffered a lot and I can't see him doing this too often until the truing discs need to be replaced. For the money I paid I expected it to be more durable; The dresser's wheels appear to be made of soft metal. I would not buy this item again.
