Good quality - would buy another

Used to remove excess dried grout from a river rock. It holds up well, I liked the relatively coarse wires - more aggressive. I particularly liked the hexagonal shank, so I didn't have to tighten the wheel in the drill chuck.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Good quality! Works on my Lopi

Every few years I have to replace the ceramic gasket on the door of my high efficiency Lopi fireplace. This wheel is excellent for cleaning an area where high temperature cement will be applied to hold the seal. I use it on my 3/8 cordless drill. This is messy work that is best done in a shop or outdoors with a dust mask on. Safety glasses and gloves (regardless of what the manufacturer recommends). I'm pretty sure it works with other brands too.

Pros
  • stove Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Quality spoked wheel

I use a spoked wheel to remove concrete from the aluminum platform of my concrete pump truck. I tried using scrapers but it took too long. The wire is enough to remove the concrete without scratching the aluminum, in fact it leaves a nice finished look that just needs to be buffed with a plastic disc. The wire lasts about 10 minutes before it has to be turned the other way, which isn't a disadvantage given the amount of concrete on the deck. I haven't lost a few cables yet.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
