Unsatisfactory Skin Improvement

Based on my observations, this cat food failed to improve my cat's skin condition as promised. However, it did appeal to my cat's taste buds.

Worth a try good for drying

My kitten has a severe food allergy and this food definitely helps her skin health. Good quality and more economical than prescription diets.

My cat wouldn't eat

I have tried "cold turkey" and switched from my old food to new food as recommended by the manufacturer. My cat didn't eat. So I introduced it slowly, mixing the new with the old, as recommended by most other cat food companies. It worked and she is now in the 50/50 phase. I noticed no improvement in her skin condition, which needs to be controlled with prednisone (a steroid). I'm hoping to see an improvement if I reduce the dose of steroids or stop altogether.
