Great cable for learning and behavior

It really should be called a light cable. This is an amazing cable and I hope I never have to figure out how many pounds it takes to break it. Usually the cable's plastic coating breaks first and pinches dogs' legs, so we replace them long before they give up. This cable is a lot lighter than I expected, but it's good. Less weight for the dog to pull overhead. I think if you have a really strong dog you might want the next size up or good shock absorbers on the suspension cable.

My dog Logan (see photo 1) and I travel constantly. He was a lifesaver and an adult when he came to me, which was fifteen years ago. So he could be sixteen - not sure. This is his current photo. He is physically very healthy. But he has dementia, is deaf (but feels percussion and vibration), mostly blind and likes to wander where his nose takes him. Gives our Corgi room to explore without causing him any trouble!

We use this cable with our SUREswivel when we take corgis to the park or on a car ride. Sometimes you just don't feel like walking the leash back and forth all weekend, but you want them to be able to enjoy the great outdoors with you. We also have a 10ft cord and switch between them depending on the circumstances. For our needs, the 15-foot fitted perfectly. This gives her room to explore without getting into trouble. She is 25 pounds. and usually we attach the cord to their harness. She's not

*NOT* "Antirust " as shown in the picture - now it's just "Antirust "

the dog didn't seem to notice he was free, when we let him in the door with a roughly 18 inch cord dangling from her neck. I bought it mainly because of the "stainless" written on the box as shown in the photo. Problems but thought I'd give it a try anyway. What I received isn't all that different from other compounds we've used in the past. Safe, frees dogs, gives security, resists rusting.” What I got says "Stronger than chain, gives dogs freedom, rust resistant." might last a year or more…

Pros
  • Easy to use
