The upper compression wedge under the top cover has teeth that could potentially strip the top of the steerer tube. I'm not a carbon expert but bought it to feel more secure from the compressive forces of my stem on my steerer tube just to get it and worry about something else. Not good. I installed it on my titanium gravel bike to have more confidence in the shorter Rohrbach the bike came with and to accept a custom top cap. The bushing around the reamer failed after 3 months of bi-weekly riding in light conditions and the reamer started pulling out of the fork. Properly rotated and everything. If that had been pulled out while driving, I might have died. Terrible piece of junk. Don't buy it if you care about your safety. I will return to the reed stream that came by

Very well thought out carbon head tube design. This Fourier extension fork replaced my stock fork on my Cervelo R2. I was a little uncomfortable knowing that the OEM connector was only about an inch or more, so I figured my investment needed something sturdier.
