Works great - great price

Perfect fit, great price. No problem with the whiskey fork - pouring screw. Use it regularly on coarse gravel and it hasn't loosened or had any problems. Better than OEM

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

  • Negative

Has two tasks, only one of them works well

Annual update: update to change the rating from 5 stars to 3. Does not slip and does not hold compression. One of the two functions of this thing. With the other task of protecting the pipe from runaway crushing and/or breaking while riding, it does a good job. Amazingly long end cap for carbon handlebar security. Your plug must protrude UNDER the stem's bottom clamp bolt!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Periodicity

Install at your own risk.

The upper compression wedge under the top cover has teeth that could potentially strip the top of the steerer tube. I'm not a carbon expert but bought it to feel more secure from the compressive forces of my stem on my steerer tube just to get it and worry about something else. If that doesn't bother you, it's long enough to cover the entire compression load on any stem (most OEM compression plugs on bikes aren't long enough and therefore concentrate the stem's compression load around one of…

Pros
  • High Quality Construction

  • Low Performance

DO NOT BUY ! - Sport

Not good. I installed it on my titanium gravel bike to have more confidence in the shorter Rohrbach the bike came with and to accept a custom top cap. The bushing around the reamer failed after 3 months of bi-weekly riding in light conditions and the reamer started pulling out of the fork. Properly rotated and everything. If that had been pulled out while driving, I might have died. Terrible piece of junk. Don't buy it if you care about your safety. I will return to the reed stream that came by

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • High price

Robust design good for sport

Very well thought out carbon head tube design. This Fourier extension fork replaced my stock fork on my Cervelo R2. I was a little uncomfortable knowing that the OEM connector was only about an inch or more, so I figured my investment needed something sturdier. I originally replaced the standard connector with a longer Specialized extension connector, but found that it came loose after a few rides. I've tightened it to 9nm as instructed but to no avail, it will loosen over time anyway. I then…
