🚲 Fouriers Seatpost Shim 31.6mm to 30.9mm: Bicycle Seatpost Adapter for Mountain Bike Seat Post Tube Review

I have the wrong pipette (30.9) for my bike (31.6). it worked well. Now I don't have to worry about putting on a carbon seat tube!

My last 3 mountain bikes before I switched to a dropper post were different diameters so I always had to buy a new seatpost, not a bigger one. That works great!

The gasket was the right size as described and allowed me to install the OneUp dropper post on my Commencal Meta HT. Delivery a day late, I don't know if it's the seller or the carrier.

Maybe I should have stuck with my coke can seal, but I liked the lip on this seal to keep it from falling into the seat tube. Be sure to place the spacer close to the desired location on the seat post, and then insert the seat post with the spacer into the seat tube. Otherwise the seal will move enough to roll off the edge.

Without having to buy a new drip column, this spacer allowed me to mount my old one on my wife's bike. It's very light and the flange is just the right size to fit between the seat tube and seatpost clamp. A bit pricey for such a flimsy product but cheaper than buying a new dripper so well worth it.

The product does its job well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bulge at the top so the sleeve doesn't go all the way into the seat tube, it's very small. It took a little finesse connecting the sleeve and seatpost to keep the entire sleeve from going down the seat tube.
