🦊 FOX Shox - 98502127 2018-On Jeep JL TS Stabilizer, 8.2-Inch Travel Review

This steering stabilizer has greatly improved the handling of my Jeep JT and would recommend to anyone looking to reduce steering. My JT is still standard height so I'm not sure how well it works with the Jeep raised. I gave 4 stars for ease of installation only because the Fox stabilizer mount that attaches to the axle didn't match the factory bolt holes and had to be bent to align. Everything else was perfect!

I got it for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. I found that I had the optional lift steering that I had with the stock sway bar. After installing it, I found that it helped with 80% of the bumps and allowed me to keep my Jeep a little straighter on the road with less correction. The big plus is that the steering has become lighter. FYI, this is my opinion based on my driving experience. Your experience may vary. Not all jeeps are created equal.

Unfortunately I can't give it the five stars I was hoping for. I had a problem with the steering, I read all the reviews and thought this steering stabilizer would solve the problem. When I hit bumps with my 2-door JL Wrangler, I had a little vibration or vibration. After installation, it completely disappeared. Installation was pretty easy. All I had to do was raise the driver's side of the car a bit to get more socket wrench clearance (although I think you could do the installation with wrenches and wouldn't jack up the jeep). This is a great upgrade for the Gladiator. However, you need to see what your truck's standard stabilizer bolt looks like. Mopar/FCA/JEEP replaced the extended carriage bolt with an extended/replaced extended carriage bolt mid-year. The stabilizer bar fitted on long jeeps has a larger bolt hole to accommodate the bolt. The shorter carriage bolt only fits the mounting bracket, so the stabilizer bolt hole is smaller. This Fox TS block is not compatible with the collar screw. You can order…

This ATS/TS straight through sway bar is well designed and has improved my Gladiato's steering stability yet again (after changing the steering box from aluminum to TSB steel and new Continental TerrainContact aftermarket tires to replace the standard Bridgestone tires). I bought this and installed it on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and I have to say it was a real night and day difference from the factory stabilizer. I have a 2.5" lift and 37x13.50 tires on 20x10 wheels and it handles the bumps in the road with almost no wheel feel and the Jeep no longer grazes the road and follows like it used to longer the ruts on the road stay planted where you point the tires.
