🥚 Metallic Egg and Mushroom Slicer by Fox Run - Compact Size: 1 x 3.25 x 6 inches Review

I'm so tired of plastic breaking after a few uses. I was very happy to find it online. It works great and looks like it will hold up well. I only used it for eggs.

At first I was amazed at how easy it was to cut mushrooms, but then it broke after only a few pieces. The wire is really thin, and if it breaks in one spot, it's all ruined. I don't recommend this at all unless you're willing to chop just 3-4 mushrooms/eggs per purchase.

I've only used this to slice hard boiled eggs but it worked very well. Definitely saves me time and effort. I put it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. I can't tell how it would hold up if I cut something harder than eggs, but I have a feeling the cutting wires won't last as long. But for eggs it's perfect. The slices are 1/4 inch thick, which is great for potato salad.

This egg slicer works great. The materials also appear to be of high quality. When we first got it I was concerned because the hinges seemed to have a lot of play between the two pieces. But it turns out that the slicer works well and is easy to use. The play in the hinges can even be beneficial, allowing the top of the wires to easily pass through the bottom of the slicer. (We only used it with eggs).
