Easy to use software

The software is easy to use and software updates are just as easy to apply. The purchase I made came with VW/Audi software. Using the menu may not apply to some models, but you will find one that applies to your specific vehicle.

Used for 2015 Audi Q5. Rear Brakes (EPB) Break in and break in

I have a 2015 Audi Q5 and was a little concerned that I would make a mistake with the rear brakes. The good news is that it worked great. I was able to use this to engage the electric parking brakes (EPB) to change pads.

The best instrument I own! the best of code readers and scan tools

I bought this scanner to access the ABS system on my 2003 VW Jetta. I love this tool! I have it with me in the car to demonstrate and to encourage others to buy the same. I am completely amazed at how deeply this scanner can read all the extra features it has access to in the VAG system. This is a must buy for anyone who owns a VW or Audi!

It worked!: Code Readers & Scan Tools

I bought an NT510 to use with my 2007 Audi Q7. I was able to fit a new battery, reset the oil service light, scan and troubleshoot. All within minutes of the first connection. I was impressed that you can go into any system in the car like the audio system or the HVAC system etc and do an active test going through each individual component to show exactly what the problem is. I really wish it was easier for me to find information on how to really use it to reach its full potential.

Mediocre at best for diagnostic, test and measurement tools

I bought this scanner to work with a 2009 VW Eos. I agree with some reviewers and online videos that this is a powerful tool with many features. At $185, and even if you can get it cheaper, it's not worth it after looking at the Ross Tech products (they're only for VAG vehicles). Foxwell has a small screen. Clumsy arrow-key navigation on a non-touch QWERTY keyboard on this screen is definitely annoying. Ross-Tech uses your laptop. The Fozwell manual is missing a joke; There isn't a better…

Cannot add software to test other vehicles

Ug. I recently purchased software to update my scanner to work with two other makes of vehicle. While the concept is great and the actual scanner is convenient to use, the process of downloading new software is difficult to say the least. The company has 2 websites. You must be using the correct website. If you try to login on the wrong site like me, your username will be banned as will mine. Communication with the company is another huge hurdle. They're in China, so they're about 13 hours…

Very Satisfied. As a preface, I am a retired ASE Certified Master. But my old scan tools haven't been updated in about a decade. I have several new German cars that I still need to service.
