The bag is made of plastic mesh with large openwork fabric. The plastic reminds me of the plastic used in a pan scraper - it's not soft and doesn't feel like mesh. Not high quality, but allows air to circulate. I use this bag for storing/transporting PFDs. The mesh makes it easy to see what's in the bag, keeps them together in one place and if they get wet it's not a problem because the mesh is breathable. I just hang this bag on a hook next to my boat gear so it's always ready to go.

The Franklin Gym Bag is a fairly large 25" x 36" gear bag with durable plastic mesh. While schools, coaches or parents can easily use this bag to store gear or toys. Work. It is made of rigid, open-weave plastic mesh. We've seen these smaller mesh bags being used for things like plastic toy soldiers and other plastic toys.
