Franklin Sports Family Volleyball Set Review

This is not a volleyball net. This is a disposable badminton net. We liked it and it works for our daughter practicing her serve, but it's really not a volleyball net.

I don't like it. I haven't had a chance to use it. The day I planned to use it was after the return date and I didn't realize it until I was about to return it. It's really small and not heavy. So I have an unused set and can't do anything with it. It sucks.

ATTENTION! If you want a REAL professional volleyball net, DON'T GET THIS! The racks are plastic, the ball is a volleyball, more like a bouncing ball, and the net itself is also imaginary - many times smaller than it should be! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

Poor quality! Not portable! Poles are designed to be set up with rope (too short) and stakes (plastic). Won't work for one person! Will comes with a storage case Impossible to set up in less than 5 minutes The ball was smaller than the standard ball and covered in a fabric that absorbed all the garden debris.

The product is so poorly made that the bends of the rubber broke on the first use. On the third use the pump broke and the fabric ball began to fall apart and no longer held air. Why would anyone make a valley ball out of cloth? Update: After the product was replaced by the company, the tip broke off as soon as a 12-year-old tried to use the pump. It is hopeless.

Assembly is fairly easy and the ONLY plus point of this product. The pole is PLASTIC, the mesh is TINY too flimsy, and the ball and ball pump are WRONG! If I could set Strength and Durability to -5, I would. It wouldn't have lasted a day, and it wouldn't have withstood any wind, not even the slightest breeze. The ball is a joke! It's like a dog toy. The pump doesn't work, I inflated the ball with a REAL ball pump and it's so cheap and ridiculous I packed it all up and it's coming back.

I needed a volleyball net for an event at my employer and only used it once so didn't want to spend a lot of money on the net. I also needed the mesh after two days which meant I couldn't be very picky. The net held up throughout the game and the posts weren't very strong. A member of staff installed the net so I cannot confirm the ease of installation of the net and poles. If you only need to use this once or twice and don't play an aggressive game of volleyball, this might work.

I ordered this for my daughter and her friend to play volleyball because they just joined the school team. I couldn't put it up in my house, so I let my girlfriend put it up in her house. The girls train almost daily and make sure to train after volleyball practice to get the most out of their training. This is a sturdy, easy to install kit and comes with everything you need to get set up. We had no issues with it falling off or the net detaching from the shock. I got my money's worth with this

I had to spend a little more and get a good volleyball setup - The air pump for the ball comes with a plastic needle which broke immediately when we tried to insert it into the ball. I'm glad I have an air compressor and a steel needle. The whole setup is shaky at best, even with pegs and guy ropes. I ended up tying each leg to a plastic barrel filled with water. The seams on the ball tore after a volleyball game. Good thing we had a good volleyball on hand. Overall: you get what you pay for…
