Sturdy street hockey blade

Excellent durable street hockey blade. We bought them for use at school and they are used very well before and after school, at lunchtime and during break time. Only downside is when it gets cold (-5 ish) they tend to get brittle and crack otherwise highly recommended.

  • Practical item

Cheap blade replacement

I play hockey in the parking lot so our blades wear out pretty quickly. This blade has been great so far, especially for the price. It's not heavily curved, so if that's what you're looking for, you might not need this blade. But if you are just looking for a cheap way to play then this is the perfect solution.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Doubt

Better than expected! Powerful Throw - Better Control

Very durable replacement blades for older street hockey players. The blades are textured on the front and back of the blade giving you extra control over racquet handling and they have held up well to several games played to date. No problem. You don't need other blades with air holes for faster racquet speed (definitely a myth!). With this slightly wider and stronger blade, I hit harder and have more control than ever before!

Pros
  • Excellent All-Round Performance
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Good ground for street hockey/support.

Decent base to use as a spare ball/stick for street hockey. I usually try to keep one or two of these joysticks to use as spares when the original wears out or breaks. Be sure to shave the end of the shaft before attaching this blade or you won't be able to get both screws in and it could wobble. Much better than old/traditional Mylec vented blades. along the top as it's a bit stiffer, but still not as good as a solid composite or wood blade.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Useless features

Too bad I think I'll order Mylec from Dick

I have a JUNIOR blade as it was about 3 inches shorter than other Franklin blades I have. Didn't realize it until my 9 year old son complained to me that the new blade completely outperformed his shooting. A quick comparison with other blades made it clear why. Kudos to Revain customer service, they removed the charge immediately. However, their solution was not to replace the junior blade with the senior blade, but to order from another manufacturer. I prefer Franklin Mylec as they seem to be…

This is a great alternative to buying new sticks!

I've played street hockey for many years and only recently decided to use these blades rather than buying full sticks. I used a Louisville composite stick, but after 5-6 uses the blade wore down enough to affect my handling of the stick. I sawed off the old blade after it wore out and used these blades with my composite. That's great. Depending on how often you use them and how intensively they are used, they can wear out quickly, but they offer a MUCH more economical alternative to replacing…
