Review by Gabrielle: I used this on the underside of the inner lid of a bin. The smell is pleasant, the unpleasant smell lingers. I put my extra double sided tape over the existing tape and it stuck to the rocker cover with no issues.

Total waste of money. I got them to freshen up different areas of the house and after a few hours I couldn't even smell them directly over the small container. Even when I swirled the gel in, it didn't last more than a minute or so. Doesn't work AT ALL and I'm so annoyed that I spent money on it.

Pleasantly fresh aroma. Not sweet or fragrant, but noticeable at first glance. Less noticeable after a few hours. No adhesion issues so far, but in the past it didn't stick well to the underside of my trash can lid. I tape it to the side and it works. It stays in place until I carefully remove the bag. I love this product!

I took out a capsule and put it in the lid of the trash can. It's the Simple Man who slowly lowers the lid so it doesn't slam shut. The next day I threw garbage in the bucket, the capsule no longer stuck to the lid. It was buried deep in the garbage and I didn't look that far for it. The smell is like deodorant in a dressing room. Uncomfortable, but if he worked I would live with him. I never had a chance.

The product arrived on time but the adhesive strips didn't last long and the cover fell in the bin within a day. Gravity did its job, and the product didn't particularly resist. This holder had adhesive tabs on the device that would stick to any surface. I followed the instructions exactly and after five attempts to stick the container to the lid I gave up, bought velcro and attached it that way. The product works as I wanted but requires a change. I really like them for their efficiency. I live in a house where people smoke. After wearing clothes for half a day and sweating slightly. I could smell his scent. So, I have 2 pieces with clothes hanging on the doors of the closet, and I haven't smelled that smell in a long time. I also combine it with a detergent.
