This bit works well, the holes are clean and accurate. I ordered this to drill holes for 5mm barrel trunnions and it's just right for the purpose. It has a flat surface on the shank which can make tightening in my drill press a bit difficult. The tip is slightly shorter compared to traditional tipped spiral nozzles and also shorter in overall length.

I did a little research which I was hoping would give me clean and accurate shelf pin holes for my cabinet projects. I chose this one, bought it and have drilled at least 200 holes with it so far. I use this bit in my drill press and have had great results. No damage, nice and clean. Note: If you are using it in a hand drill or press, be sure to orient it properly in the chuck so it doesn't wobble when you turn it.
